Jacob v. Pierce, 2 Rawle 204 (Pa. 1828)

D.R. Jacob (plaintiff) against Paul Pierce (defendant), executor of the estate of Jane Jacob, to recover the price of Ben, an enslaved man. Ben was born into slavery the son of Sall, who was enslaved to Paul Pierce. Ben was sold by Jane Jacob to D.R. Jacob, Pierce claims ownership. Decision: judgement affirmed.
