Urie v. Johnston, 3 Pen. & W. 212 (Pa. 1831)

Thomas Urie (plaintiff) against Sampson Johnston (defendant) regarding wages owed to Johnston unpaid by Urie. Johnston, son of enslaved woman Jane, was born into slavery and enslaved by Urie after being sold by the executors of the estate of J. Randolph. Decision: judgement reversed.
