Stille v. Jenkins, 15 N.J.L. 302 (1836)

Edward T. Stille (plaintiff) against William Jenkins (defendant) regarding Ephraim, an enslaved man. William Jenkins was accused of harboring and concealing Ephraim on his steamboat and helping him escape to New York while knowing that Ephraim was enslaved to Stille. Decision: judgement for plaintiff.
