Baldwin Twp. Poor Overseers v. Kline, 9 Pa. 217 (1848)

A case to determine who was responsible for the cost of the care of Sylph, a previously enslaved woman. Sylph was enslaved to Mrs Brawdy, who married Kline. Decision: judgement reversed; new trial awarded.
