Giles v. Meeks, 1 Add. 384 (1799)

Giles (plaintiff) against Joshua Meeks (defendant) regarding the registration of Giles as a slave. Giles was previously enslaved by Hall, who admitted that Giles was not properly registered as an enslaved person. Decision: jury for defendant; move for new trial.
